Maruti Swift Dzire Maruti Dzire has won millions of hearts since its launch, in March 2008. Manufactured by Maruti Suzuki Indian Ltd, Dzire is the successor to the company's popular entry-level sedan - Esteem, production of which was stopped in November 2007. The new 5-door notchback car, Dzire offers luxury features, with powerful performance and latest safety equipments, ensuring a luxurious ride. It is the sedan version of the famous Swift hatchback and bears resemblance to its sibling in many aspects.

The petrol engine of Dzire has improved torque and a 32 bit ECM on board is integrated.3L 1248 cc diesel version has got a direct ignition system and it delivers a power of 75 bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum power delivered by petrol version is 87@6000 Bhp@rpm .The vehicle gives a maximum torque of 113@4500 Nm@rpm in Petrol version and for diesel version the maximum torque is 190@2000. The engine is equipped with an intercooler and a turbocharger that helps it to reduce noise and vibration and clear exhaust.

Looks & Styling:
The sedan is a replica of the hatchback with a boot attached along. The chunky C-pillar is moved towards the back and rear quarter glass has grown in size. Maruti has extended the rear doors and hence the seats are pushed to the back to give more legroom for the rear passengers. Front seats are comfy and very supportive.

Dzire offers customers the prestige associated with a sedan, while retaining the famed performance of the Swift hatchback. The swift had, from the start, been conceived as a car that would be offered both as a hatchback as well as a sedan.
For the eleven Maruti Suzuki engineers who worked on the design of the Dzire, the challenge was to integrate the boot into the overall personality of the Swift, while imparting the elegance of a sedan. In providing a high style quotient, the engineers have integrated the boot with just 30 KG added to the car’s weight! The suspension and engine have been tuned for the sedan.
Ride And Handling:
Sound absorbing materials within the cabin of Maruti Swift Dzire enable the driver to have a pleasurable drive. The Zxi and Zdi variants of the car are equipped with adjustable tilt steering, which enables you to adjust the steering wheel according to your height. The headlamp leveling facility offers perfect light beam adjustment, thereby increasing the visibility during night.
