General Motors, US based automobile manufacturers have launched the luxury sedan, Chevrolet Cruze in India,The Chevrolet Cruze has come up with 3 engine options starting with the 112 bhp 1.6 Litre 4 cylinder petrol, another 1.8 Litre 140 bhp petrol and the 2.0 Litre turbocharged common railing diesel engine from the Captiva SUV. The Chevrolet will come in two variants – manual and automatic. The sedan will give up a mileage of around 18.3 kilometers per litre.The Car will be competing with other luxury sedan cars like Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla Altis. The Cruze has some advantages over its competing lineup such as Push Button Start, Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Braking System and all-time electronic program etc Chevrolet Cruze LT and fully loaded Chevrolet Cruze LTZ.

The car is powered by 2.0 L VCD i Diesel Engine which is able to deliver a torque of 150 PS @ 4,000 RPM and 327 Nm @ 2,600 RPM. Considering that the same engine also powers the Chevrolet Captiva SUV, it seems that the engine will deliver more than enough boost when accelerating. he Chevrolet Cruze has an aggressive, sharp taut, something very rare in sedans.
