Jaipur International Airport or Sanganer Airport is the only airport catering to international passenger traffic in the state of Rajasthan. It is also the biggest domestic airport in the state and its airport code is JAI. Jaipur airport got the status of international airport on 29 December 2005.

Its geographical coordinates are Longitude 75° 48’ 0” E and Latitude 26° 49’ 0” N. Runway length of this airport is 5955 ft. and elevation is 1278 ft. Other airports near Sanganer airport are Agra Airport (240 Km), Delhi Airport (260 Km), Jodhpur Airport (340 Km), Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur (420 Km) and Jaisalmer Airport (645 Km).
Terminals of Jaipur Airport :
Jaipur airport has two terminals. Terminals 1 can accommodate 500 passengers at one time. Terminal 2 is new and can also accommodate 500 passengers at one time.Only few international airlines operate from Jaipur airport. International Airlines like Air Arabia, Air India Express, Indian Airlines and Oman Air have flights to destinations Sharjah, Dubai and Muscat.
